School Volunteer As a former 3rd grade teacher, I want to give back to the schools everything they were able to give me as a teacher. Therefore, I volunteer an hour and 1/2 of my time each week to Scholls Heights Elementary School in Beaverton. I read to kids, help teachers, and stay as actively involved in the school community as I can. Windermere Giving Giving back to the community is very important to me, to the 550 Windermere agents in our region, and to our company. We have raised over $2,000,000 for the Windermere Foundation for use by non-profit agencies offering housing and services to homeless families in our tri-county area. Every time I sell a home, I can make a contribution to the Windermere Foundation in my client’s name. All Windermere agents have made this commitment, which has allowed Windermere to help the following organizations in our area. Community Service Day We are in the business of helping people find a place they can call home. Every year since 1984 Windermere agents have “skipped” work for a day to extend a hand in their own neighborhood to give back to the communities where we live and work. We clean, landscape and repair parks, playgrounds, schools, shelters and community buildings. Each office selects a project that best serves its community needs.
